Who we are
Who we are
We are a Buddhist community inspired by Zen teacher Daizan Soriano, dedicated to the practice and sharing of the Soto Zen tradition. We are registered in the Spanish Register of Religious Entities under number 027816.
Our main purpose is to share and support the practice and study of Soto Zen Buddhism. Through our activities, we offer a space for spiritual learning and practice for people interested in the Zen path.
From our Buddhist vocation, we remain open to dialogue and collaboration with spiritual traditions, disciplines, sciences, and approaches that work for the benefit of all beings. We believe this broad exchange enriches both understanding and practice.
Join us in your spiritual path through meditation sessions, workshops, and retreats. We invite you to explore the depth and clarity of Zen in a respectful and welcoming environment.

Daizan Soriano
Zen teacher, he received Dharma Transmission (dempo) from Venerable Taisei Dokusho Villalba (泰西 独照), founding abbot of the temple and the Soto Zen Buddhist Community, becoming his legitimate successor in the lineage of Buddhas and Ancestors of Soto Zen.
His spiritual search began early and led him to Zen meditation practice in 1993. Six years later, he was accepted as a disciple by Dokusho Villalba and joined the Soto Zen Buddhist Community (CBSZ).
His dedication to organization and teaching in CBSZ led him, in 2006, to complete his training and serve as a Zen meditation instructor and Buddhist studies teacher. He has held several organizational roles, both in communication and teaching. He currently serves as teaching director of the Komyo Zen Center in Alicante and the Zen Center in Murcia, as president of the Alicante Zen Association, and as spiritual director of the Camino Medio Soto Zen Community.
